Are my hearing aids compatible?

Your hearing aids become a wireless headset with ConnectClip

With a ConnectClip* accessory, your Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids become headphones and ConnectClip is your microphone. You can:

  • Make hands-free phone calls on compatible modern smartphones

  • Make video calls on any compatible tablet or computer with Bluetooth technology

  • Send sound to your hearing aids from your music player or computer, in stereo

  • Use ConnectClip as a remote microphone that clips onto the clothes of whoever you want to hear from a distance. It then sends their voice directly to your hearing aids

  • Use ConnectClip as a hearing aid remote control

Streaming audio from your compatible smartphone to your hearing aids

All Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids are Made For iPhone® hearing aids. This means they can be used as high-quality, stereo headphones to receive streamed audio directly from compatible iPhone, iPad®, and iPod touch® devices. From these devices you can also stream phone calls to your hearing aids; adding ConnectClip helps to capture your voice and enables you to speak hands-free.

If you have another type of hearing aid-compatible smartphone such as an Android,
you will need a ConnectClip* to stream any sound to your hearing aids.

Stream your TV’s sound directly to your ears with a TV Adapter

You can use your Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids as wireless, stereo headphones for your TV.

With a TV Adapter* you can:

  • Stream sound from your TV directly to your hearing aids, so you can hear it clearly

  • Control your own volume level while keeping the TV’s own volume comfortable for others

  • Use our hearing aid app – Oticon ON – to control the TV sound in your hearing aids

  • Connect the TV Adapter to a music system to stream music into your hearing aids

Our TV Adapter can be connected to almost any audio device, using the cables provided.

EduMic helps you to be active and engaged

EduMic* is a hearing aid accessory that is very easy to use and has many functions. It can be your:

  • Remote microphone – Transmits the voice of a teacher, sports trainer, meeting leader, or friend directly to your hearing aids

  • Telecoil receiver – Captures audio from public hearing loop systems and sends it to your hearing aids – in cinemas, theatres, and many other public venues

  • Media streamer – Sends sound from your computer, tablet, or TV directly to your hearing aids

In each case, EduMic helps you overcome distance and noise with direct, clear sound.

You can control your Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids from your compatible smartphone using the Oticon ON App. You can adjust the volume, switch between programmes, check the battery level, and more:

  • Adjust the sound from other devices such as Oticon’s TV Adapter, ConnectClip and EduMic*, and reduce unwanted environmental sound

  • Use an iPhone as a remote microphone, streaming the voice of your conversation partner to your hearing aids

  • Take greater control of the way you use your hearing aids with the HearingFitness™ feature

  • Create your own intelligent connections using the Internet of Things / IFTTT feature**
