    Along with a new Background Noise Level feature to alert you of intrusive noise while testing, this game-changing new capability enables accurate and precise remote measurements that are equal to the In-situ measurements made in a clinic – giving you and your clients more flexible hearing care.

    What is In-situ Audiometry?

    In-situ Audiometry works via the hearing aid in a person’s ear and is a valuable tool for measuring hearing thresholds using an individual’s own ear acoustic. With In-situ Audiometry via Oticon RemoteCare, this same personalized fitting to a user’s ear can be done remotely.

    By performing In-situ Audiometry through Oticon RemoteCare, you can deliver a personalized high-quality fitting to your client while they are in the comfort of their own home, without compromising professionalism or sacrificing quality.

    In-situ Audiometry carried out remotely is performed in the same way it would be performed in clinic because it is implemented in the same way, with the Background Noise Level feature ensuring conditions are comparable to in-clinic conditions. The main difference is that the Oticon RemoteCare app is used as the interface.

Establishing interest

Once you’ve fitted a client with Oticon hearing aids, explain the Oticon RemoteCare service and ask whether they would be interested in using it. If so, you can go ahead and book the first trial follow-up appointment.
