How to use the Tinnitus SoundSupport™ program
The Oticon Companion App gives users of select Oticon hearing aids the ability to adjust their tinnitus relief sounds easily and discreetly.

Download the Oticon Companion
Ensure you have the latest version of the Oticon Companion.

Pair your hearing aids with your phone or device
Once you've downloaded the Oticon Companion, you need to pair your hearing aids with your device.
About Tinnitus SoundSupport
For people suffering from tinnitus, Tinnitus SoundSupport generates sounds that provide temporary relief as part of a tinnitus management program. Tinnitus SoundSupport needs to be enabled by your hearing care professional during a hearing aid fitting session. They will provide you with one or more tinnitus relief programs.

To access a Tinnitus SoundSupport program, tap the Sound icon at the bottom left of your screen (on the tab bar) to access sound controls.

Then, at the top of your screen (in the navigation bar), tap the down arrow to see your available tinnitus programs, or scroll through your available programs by tapping the right and left arrows in the navigation bar.

Tap your desired tinnitus program to start using it.
To adjust the tinnitus relief sound level

On the navigation bar, tap the Sound tab.
Move the slider(s) up or down.
You can do this for each hearing aid independently or both hearing aids at the same time.
To adjust the volume of surrounding sounds picked up by your hearing aids

Tap the Surroundings tab.
Move the slider(s) up or down.
To adjust the pulsation pattern of your relief sound*

Tap the Sound icon at the bottom left of your screen (on the tab bar) to access sound controls.

Above the tap bar, within the row of buttons, tap the Ear icon to open the pulsation menu.

Tap to choose one of the pulsation options
*The availability and number of pulsation options will vary depending on your hearing aid model and how your hearing care provider has enabled Tinnitus SoundSupport.
